Sadio Mane Replaced Leroy Sane against Man City : Bayern Munich were kicked out of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League at the quarter-final stage by Manchester City following the 1-1 outcome in the second leg of their quarter-final tie.

Before the Bayern equalizer , Sadio Mane replaced Leroy Sane in the 63rd minute as the former Liverpool winger returned from his one-match suspension handed by the Bavarians following his scuffle with Sane.
Mane reportedly punched the former Manchester City player on the lips. The Senegal icon was also fined by the Bundesliga masters around an alleged amount of 50 000 Euros.
Bayern thus go out of the competition with a 4-1 aggregate defeat against the team of Pep Guardiola.
The focus of the German side now fully goes into making sure they win the Bundesliga which they lead with 59 points in 28 games with Dortmund trailing them on 57 points in 28 matches contested.
