Umar Rabi resigns : Medeama SC head coach Umar Rabi has resigned from his role at the club , the Yellow and Mauves have announced.
The news comes after the Week 19 Ghana Premier League draw against Real Tamale United on Wednesday at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium.
“Medeama would like to announce that coach Umar Rabi has left the club. He has tendered in his resignation. The club will be making no further comments at the moment.” the club stated in a brief statement on Wednesday.
This is the second managerial change at the club this season after that of David Duncan.
The former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko gaffter was signed a one-year deal to become Medeama head coach in September 2022 but he and Moses Armah Parker’s club parted ways in December 2022.
Rabi who took over as usual from Duncan but he has also left the Tarkwa-based side.
