What is happening to former Kotoko attacker Mathew Anim Cudjoe ?

What is Happening to Mathew Anim Cudjoe : The 19-year old winger was at Asante Kotoko on loan in the 2019/20 season but the Porcupine Warriors could not afford to buy him outright.

Young Apostles , the parent club of Cudjoe , reportedly wanted 200 000 USD to allow the talented forward join Asante Kotoko permanently but the Reds withdrew their interest and the player moved to Legon Cities in the 2020/21 season before taking his career to Scotland.

On 17 November 2021, Scottish Premiership team Dundee United announced the signing of Cudjoe subject to international clearance, upon approval of his Visa application.

Cudjoe made his first team debut for Dundee United in a 1-1 draw with Hibernian on 2 April 2022 when he came on as a substitute. Cudjoe made his first start on 9 May in a league game against Rangers.

Last season he appeared in in just 16 matches for the club as he neither scored nor assisted in 365 minutes of football.

His contract with the Scottish team expires in May 2024 and despite the fact that he is still young , Cudjoe who became a fan favorite at Kotoko , has gone under the radar since he moved out of the country.
