First choice goalkeeper Joseph Wollacot missed the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar through injury and in his absence Lawrence Ati – Zigi impress at the tournament.

Head coach Otto Addo left his role after the group stage exit of the Black Stars. Technical advisor to Addo , Chris Hughton , was confirmed as the new Black Stars head coach earlier this month.
The former Brighton and Holve Albion manager has been handed a contract till December 2024.
