Al Ahly Hammer Coton Sport in Garoua : Al Ahly produced their best performance of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League to destroy Coton Sport by 4-0 on Friday during match-day five of the Champions League as Kahraba netted a hat trick.
The Egyptian forward slotted home the opening goal in the 23rd minute after being played through by Afsha.
Kahraba made it 2-0 in the 29th minute before realizing a hat trick in the 51st. South Africa international Percy Tau then sealed the victory with a 54th minute strike as Ahly run riot in Cameroon.
The all-time most successful African club complete their group play with a home match against Al-Hilal Omdurman on March 31st.
Meanwhile the Sudanese giants take on group leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday for their fifth group match.
Sundowns lead the group standings with 10 points , Al-Hilal are next with 9 points whilst Ahly are third with 7 points.
The team of Ibrahim Imoro and David Abagna Sandan must defeat Masandawana to make their chances of qualifying to the knockout stages brighter.
