Cameroon 1 Jamaica 1 : The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon were held by Jamaica during an international friendly game on Wednesday.
The pre-World Cup friendly for the African team ended 1-1 at the Stade Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo in front of an appreciable number of supporters.
Justin McMaster put Jamaica ahead at the hour mark before Djawal Kaiba equalized for Rigobert Song’s team in the 74th minute.
Song was however without majority of his European-based materials like Andre Onana at Inter Milan , Choupo-Moting of Bayern Munich and Zambo Anguissa of Napoli who are yet to be released by their respective clubs.
Cameroon take on Panama on November 18th for their last friendly match before taking opening their 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage account against Switzerland on November 24th. They play Serbia four days later before coming face to face with the tournament’s big favourites Brazil on December 12th.
