Frederick Asare to Leave Asante Kotoko: Frederick Asare wants to leave Asante Kotoko within the shortest possible time after being dropped from Prosper Ogum’s squad for the second game in a row.

The former Kotoko No.1 has lost his starting berth to Guinea shot stopper Mohammed Camara.

The former Accra Lions keeper has been restricted to six appearances this season and has not been in action since the 2-1 loss at Legon Cities on 30th October, 2024.

Asare, who was not selected for the 2-0 home win against Bibiani Gold Stars, did not form part of the Porcupine Warriors squad for the GPL Matchweek 16 encounter against Medeama on Sunday.

Prosper Narteh Ogum kept faith in Camara and named youngster Fatao Seidu on the bench as Asare misses out again, though he is not said to be injured per the team’s latest injury update.

The Black Stars goalkeeper does not think the situation could get better and now wants to take his career elsewhere, Ghana Sports Market understands.
