LIVE TEXT COMMENTARY : Hearts of Oak vs Kotoku Royals

Hearts of Oak vs Kotoku Royals Live Text Commentary : Welcome to GhanaSportsMarket.com’s live text commentary of the Week 22 betPawa Ghana Premier League match between Hearts of Oak and Kotoku Royals. 

1st minute – We are underway at the Accra sports stadium and it is an early attacking play from Hearts of Oak that results in a corner kick for the Phobians. Linta Mtange takes it but goalkeeper Frank Boateng saves it.

4th minute – Andy Kumi Francis the dangerman for the visitors goes down and receives a medical treatment outside the pitch. Freekick to Royals.

5th minute – Hearts attack now and once again Boateng catches the ball.

6th minute – Caleb delivers a good block at the back.

7th minute – The visitors almost scored the opening goal of the game as Andy Kumi broke free on the right to cut the ball back for Collins Cudjoe in the area but Richmond Ayi comes out of his line to deal with it.

11th minute – Linta releases Amankwah Baafi on the right but Kotoko deals with the threat.

13th minute – Freekick to Hearts of Oak as Linda is brought down in the opponent’s half.

14th minute – Linda takes a strong freekick but Frank Boateng does well to push it over the bar for corner kick. Linda will take it again.

15th minute – Royals have had created more dangerous attacking moves. It is a strong start to the game by Eduafo’s side.

18th minute – Freekick for Hearts of Oak but nothing good comes from Linda’s delivery. Hearts of Oak has scored from set pieces for their last two league goals – against Kotoko and Gold Stars. It is their strength and Royals must be careful.

20th minute – Still no goals scored.

20th minute – Richmond Ayi makes a huge blunder as he is dispossessed in his area but he is lucky his teammates cleared the danger.

24th minute – Linda centers a freekick into the Kotoku Royals box and Boateng clears it away. Corner to Hearts of Oak.

45th minute – End of the first half.

46th minute – We are back underway for the second half.

51st minute – Salifu Ibrahim replaces Kwadwo Obeng Junior for Hearts of Oak.

53rd minute – Goal kick for Royals as Ali Fawzi provides some good defending against Albert Dieudonne.

55th minute – Hearts of Oak probing and looking to go ahead with consistent attacking moves but they always lack the cutting edge.

56th minute – Richmond Ayi with a great save to stop Collins Cudjoe in a one versus one situation.

63rd minute – Royals have been resolute and the hosts are struggling to break them down.

66th minute – Isaac Mensah and Victor Aidoo are on for Linda Mtange and Albert Eonde.

68th minute – Dela Akorli comes in for Andy Kumi who have really worked today without scoring any goals.

75th minute – We are into the last 15 minutes of the game. Both teams continue to exchange attacks but we are yet to see any goals.

80th minute – Corner kick for Royals.

85th minute – Just five minutes remaining to close the game and it is still Hearts of Oak 0 Kotoku Royals 0.

88th minute – Isaac Mensah misses a glorious chance to score in the Kotoku Royals area. The striker should have done better.

90th minute – 90 minutes are up and we are doing 7 additional minutes.

96th minute – Caleb Amankwah scores for Hearts of Oak with a powerful flick from Salifu Ibrahim’s freekick. What a moment and it is always going to be him again , Caleb.

99th minute – Full Time. Hearts of Oak 1 Kotoku Royals 0.
