“Our aim is to beat Hearts of Oak” – Nations FC

Hearts of Oak vs Nations FC: Brands and Marketing Manager of Nations FC, Kennedy Boakye Ansah says his outfit ultimate goal is to beat Hearts of Oak to secure the three maximum points at stake.

Nations FC are away to Hearts of Oak in the soon to end matchday 32 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Both teams will go into the game on back of defeats and will be aiming for maximum points in the crucial encounter to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.

Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Boakye Ansah expressed his sides determination to beat Hearts of Oak to merit maximum points.

“Hearts of Oak is a big club but as a professionally run club, our ultimate goal is to secure the three maximum points against Hearts in Accra. We haven’t gotten good results in recent times.

“Our boys did well against Aduana Stars just that they were much better. We lost the game by a lone goal. If you are able to beat Hearts of Oak, it gives you a big mileage which raises your name to a higher pedestal”

“Hearts of Oak will be coming as a wounded lions after losing to Kotoko. This means we have to go deep into our arsenals to be able to get victory. I trust in the boys, we can deliver the three maximum points” he said.

The Abrankese-based club has lived up to expectations in their maiden appearances in the Ghanaian top-flight. With three matches to end the campaign, Nations FC find themselves find themselves in 4th position with 48 points.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are 15th on the league standings after 31 matches, accumulating just 38 points.
