Samuel Ashie Quaye during Olympics 1 Bechem 0 game

Samuel Ashie Quaye has scored the first goal of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season.

His 82nd minute strike is also the first for Olympics in the new season.

Michelle Sarpong was the author of the first goal of the previous league season after scoring for Elmina Skarks against Accra Lions. The Hearts of Oak loanee netted in the 63rd minute in the 1-1 draw.

Olympics currently lead Bechem United by 1-0 at the 85th minute.
