Danlad is Selected : Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has been selected by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo as one of the three goalkeepers in his final squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Danlad was named alongside Lawrence Ati-Zigi of St. Gallen and Manaf Nurudeen of KAS Eupen.
Regular custodian Joseph Wollacot and Orlando Pirates keeper Richard Ofori have officially been ruled out of the World Cup due to injuries.
