Tunisia Are Eliminated : Antoine Griezmann thought he had scored an injury time equalizer against Tunisia but his effort was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee as the North Africans imposed a first defeat against France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Montpellier forward Wahbi Khazri put the Tunisians ahead in the 58th minute after being played through by Laidouni Aissa.
France topped Group D standings with 6 points plus 3 goals , Australia collected 6 points but had a negative goal difference of one. Tunisia on 4 points and Denmark who earned just a point bow out of the 2022 Mundial.
