Danlad to Qatar : Per multiple reports, Asante Kotoko first choice goalkeeper will make Ghana’s final World Cup squad as Otto Addo announces his team on Monday.
Danlad’s chances of going to Qatar increased after Joseph Wollacott picked a finger injury at Charlton Athletic on Saturday and uncertainty surrounds Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
The 19-year-old has reportedly been rewarded a spot in the Black Stars final squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup following his exploits at Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League for the past two seasons.
He led the Porcupine Warriors to the league title last season and also played a pivotal role in helping the Black Galaxies qualify for the 2023 CHAN tournament – having missed out in the last three editions.
The African best U20 goalkeeper also powered the Black Meteors to the next qualifying round of the CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series after edging out Mozambique just recently.
